How far in advance should I book?
To ensure you get the date that you want, plan to book around 4 months in advance for busier seasons like summer and fall. However, last-minute appointments are sometimes available, so it never hurts to ask!
Will you photoshop me?
I apply very minimal touch ups. I'll remove temporary things such as blemishes, scars, scrapes. I will never photoshop or alter how you are or how you look. If you feel self-conscious about something, please let me know beforehand so I can be mindful of it when posing you!
How do we receive the photos?
As soon as your photos are ready, I will send you the link to your private online gallery! From there you will be able to view, download, and share.
What time should I arrive for my session?
You should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before the starting time of your session. Showing up late means you lose camera time, and we don't want that. If you're coming from out of town, keep in mind that weather, traffic, and just life can get in the way so give yourself plenty of time to find your way around. Its always best to be earlier rather than late!
How many images are included?
Each package varies, but there will always be a minimum amount of photos delivered that you will know about beforehand.
Can I have the raw files?
No, I do not deliver unedited photos nor offer different editing styles. Be sure to look at my portfolio to see that my work and style are a good match for you. If you do not already like my editing style from what you see on my website, another photographer might be a better for you. A lot of work goes into the post process that makes the photos part of me + my brand!
Who picks the photos?
After your session, I will hand select and edit all the best photos to my highest standard.
When do I get my photos back?
A goal of mine is to get your images to you as soon as possible but please be patient as I don't want to rush the process... perfection takes time! This ensures I am spending the same amount of time of every clients pictures. My normal session return for full gallery is at most 3-6 weeks unless told otherwise.
DO I have to pick the locations?
Nope! I handle all location scouting for a variety of reasons. If you have an area or general idea you want to shoot in like a school gym, etc we can connect and use those places.
What happens if it rains?
If your session is rained out, we will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible. You will never be left out of the non-refundable initial payment because of weather or other circumstances beyond my control. Rescheduling due to weather is up to my discretion.
